JETTED SINK USE  
The jetted sink is to be used for washing delicate clothing such  
as lingerie, hosiery, blouses or a single sweater.  
IMPORTANT:  
Starting Your Jetted Sink

The jetted sink should not be used for bathing infants or pets.

The jetted sink should not be used for cleaning or soaking  
unusually dirty, or clay-ridden clothing, household tools or  
other items that may damage the inner plumbing system and  
pump.

Do not overfill with laundry. The jetted sink is not designed to  
replace a washing machine.  
Do not run the pump/motor on the jetted sink while the  
suction cover is off or without water in the jetted sink. This  
could cause damage to the pump/motor or internal seals and  
could void the warranty.  
NOTE: Before washing, pretreat stains on clothing according to  
the recommendations on the garment care label.  
1. Turn the pop-up drain control knob counterclockwise to close  
the drain.

2. Fill jetted sink with water to just above the suction cover.  
Dye transfer can occur when mixing whites and colors in a load.  
Sort dark clothes from whites and lights.

The water must completely cover the suction cover.  
Only clothing labeled as hand or machine washable should be  
loaded.  
The water temperature should be what is recommended  
for the garments being washed.  
Suggested Loads for Jetted Sink  
3. Add a few drops of low-sudsing, delicate washing liquid  
detergent or 1 tsp (4.9 mL) of a low-sudsing powder at any  
time after you have started running water into the jetted sink.  
You may add more if necessary.

Some delicate wash detergents foam excessively when  
agitated. It may be necessary to rinse the jet system and  
clothing with clean water after use.

4. Load a few small items of delicate clothing or a sweater into  
10. After rinse is finished, drain the rinse water from the jetted  
sink and gently squeeze water from garment without twisting  
or wringing. Additional water can be removed by laying  
garments flat on a clean, dry towel. Roll up the towel, then  
gently squeeze out excess water. Follow recommendations  
on the garment care label for drying.

5. Set the jet speed control for desired water force/speed. See  
“Jet Speed Control.”  
6. Press the on/off button to start the pump/motor and to set  
the 10-minute timer. The on/off button sets the timer to shut  
off automatically in 10 minutes, but the on/off button can also  
override the timer and stop the pump/motor at any time.  
Jet Speed Control  
IMPORTANT: Starting the pump when there is no water in the  
jetted sink could result in damage to the pump or internal seals  
and could void the warranty.  
Water pressure in the jetted sink may be adjusted from a very  
high agitation (H) to a low, swirling action (L) by turning the jet  
speed control dial.  
7. After wash is finished, turn pop-up drain control knob  
clockwise to open the drain.  
Normal Sounds  
Your jetted sink may make sounds that are unfamiliar to you.  
The normal sounds are:  
8. Gently squeeze water from garment(s) without twisting or  
wringing.  
9. Close the drain again, turning the pop-up drain control knob  
counterclockwise as before. Fill the jetted sink with clean  
water, reset the jet speed control, and push the on/off button  
to begin another 10-minute cycle to rinse garment(s).  
During washing  
You will hear the sound of the pump and motor operating.  
During draining  
You will hear the sound of water draining from the sink.  
JETTED SINK CARE  
Cleaning Your Jetted Sink  
Storing  
Acrylic is a renewable surface. If the acrylic surface is damaged,  
minor cuts or scratches usually can be buffed or polished out of  
the finish with a paste wax or automobile rubbing compound.  
To winterize your jetted sink:  
IMPORTANT: The jetted sink must be filled to a level above the  
suction cover.  
To clean your jetted sink:  
1. Fill the jetted sink with an R.V.-type antifreeze solution to just

damp cloth or sponge. Rinse and wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Do not use abrasive cleaners such as scouring cleansers or  
harsh cleaning tools such as scouring pads. These can  
scratch or damage materials.  
5. Disconnect the water inlet hoses from faucets and then drain.  
To flush your jetted sink:  
To use your jetted sink again:  
1. Flush the water pipes.  
2. Reconnect the water inlet hoses to faucets.  
3. Turn on both water faucets.  
Flush the jetted sink at least once every 90 days.  
1. Fill the jetted sink with hot water and add 2 tsp (9.8 mL) of  
non-sudsing laundry detergent.  
2. Run the system for 10 minutes, then drain the jetted sink.  
4. Plug in jetted sink or reconnect power.  
3. Fill jetted sink with cold water and run for 10 minutes to rinse  
the system, then drain the jetted sink.  
5. Run the jetted sink through a 10-minute cycle with ¹⁄₄ the  
normal recommended amount of detergent to clean out the  
antifreeze.  
TROUBLESHOOTING  
First try the solutions suggested here and possibly avoid the cost of a service call...

Is the clear air-line hose connected to both the bottom of  
the timer control box and the bottom of the on/off button?  
Jetted sink pump/motor won’t turn on

Is the reset button on the GFCI tripped?

Is the power cord plugged into the timer control box  
outlet?  
Jetted sink won’t drain  
Is the drain clogged?  
I

Is the timer control box plugged into the wall outlet?  
Has a fuse blown, or has the circuit breaker tripped? If  
problem continues, call electrician.

Is the drain plug adjusted correctly? Adjust the drain plug  
height by turning the adjusting screw on the bottom of the  
drain plug. See Installation Instructions.

Is there power at the plug? Check electrical source or call  
electrician.

Jetted sink makes noise

Is the pump/motor plugged into an outlet? The on/off  
button will make a clicking noise if you push the button when  
the power cord is not plugged into the timer control box  
outlet.

Did you properly sort the load? Dye transfer can occur  
when mixing whites and colors in a load. Sort dark clothes  
from whites and lights.  
Was the proper amount and type of detergent used? Use  
a few drops of low-sudsing, delicate washing liquid detergent  
or 1 tsp (4.9 mL) of a low-sudsing powder.  
Is the water level too low?

Did you use the proper water temperature? Follow the  
garment manufacturer’s care label instructions.

Check caulking around jetted sink for leaks.  
Check household plumbing for leaks.  
Is the drain clogged?

Check the following:  
Were sharp items removed from pockets before washing?  
Is water deflecting off the jetted sink or the load? The  
jetted sink should not be overloaded. The incoming water  
might deflect off the load.  
Empty pockets, zip zippers, and snap or hook fasteners  
before washing.

Did you fill the jetted sink with too much water? The jetted  
sink should be filled to just above the suction cover.  
Were strings and sashes tied to prevent tangling?  
I

Were items damaged before washing? Mend rips and  
broken threads in seams before washing.  
Stains on clothing  
Was chlorine bleach used in the jetted sink? Rinse the  
jetted sink well and wipe up bleach spills which could transfer  
to clothing causing damage.

Is there above average iron (rust) in water? You may need  
to install an iron filter.  
Did you properly sort the load? Sort dark clothes from

Did you overload the jetted sink? The jetted sink must not

transfer, unload the jetted sink as soon as it stops.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY  
For one year from the date of purchase, when this jetted sink is operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or  
furnished with the product, Whirlpool Corporation will replace defective parts with factory authorized parts to correct defects in  
materials or workmanship, when presented to the selling distributor, together with proof of purchase, during the warranty period.  
Service must be provided by a Whirlpool designated service company.  
Whirlpool Corporation will not pay for:  
1. Service calls to correct the installation of your jetted sink, to instruct you on how to use your jetted sink, or to replace house fuses or  
correct house wiring or plumbing.  
2. Repairs when your jetted sink is used in other than normal, single-family household use.  
3. Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, acts of God, improper installation, installation not in  
accordance with local electrical and plumbing codes, or use of products not approved by Whirlpool Corporation.  
4. Damage resulting from activating the whirlpool jet action with no water in the jetted sink or with water level below the jets.  
5. Damage caused by failure to test the unit properly prior to complete enclosure.  
6. Any labor costs during the limited warranty period.  
7. Replacement parts or repair labor costs for units operated outside the United States.  
8. Pickup and delivery. This product is designed to be repaired in the home.  
9. Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the appliance.  
10. Products classified as options or accessories, although they may be covered under their own manufacturers’ warranties.  
WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not  
apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
