WHYNTER Bamboo Bathroom Scale

OPERATION  
STEP 1: Put the scale on a hard & flat surface (avoid carpet or soft  
surface).  
STEP 2: Switch on the scale by slightly tapping on the platform,  
and then wait a few seconds, the following will appear.  
(NOTE: Please make sure the “0.0” appears on the LCD display  
before standing on the scale.)  
STEP 3: Gently step on the platform, put your feet evenly on the  
scale without moving. The scale will compute your weight and it  
will be displayed in LCD display.  
AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF  
When you step off the scale, it will automatically switch off in  
approximately 6 seconds.  
OVER LOAD INDICATOR  
When the scale is over loaded (over 150kg/ 330lbs/ 24st),”Err” will  
 
appear on the screen.  
ADVICE FOR USE AND CARE  
Always place your scale on a hard & flat surface to ensure the  
greatest weighing accuracy.  
Weigh yourself without clothing and footwear, before meals and  
at the same time of day. Morning is the best time to weight  
yourself.  
Your scale rounds up or down to the nearest 100g, if you weigh  
yourself twice and get tow different readings, your weight lies  
between the two readings.  
Clean your scale with a damp cloth but do not allow water to  
enter the scale. Do not use chemical cleaning agents.  
Do submerge the scale in water.  
Do not store the scale in an upright position.  
Remove the batteries if the scale is not being used for a long  
time.  
Do not drop the scale or jump on it.  
Do not use for commercial trade.  
 
180 DAYS LIMITED WARRANTY  
This WHYNTER scale is warranted, to the original owner within the 48 continental states,  
for 180 days from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship under  
normal use and service. Should your WHYNTER scale prove defective within 180 days  
from the date of purchase, return the defective part or unit, freight prepaid (within one  
month of purchase; after one month to one year, customer will be responsible for freight  
cost to Whynter’s service department), along with an explanation of the problem/issue.  
Please carefully package the scale in its original packaging material to avoid damage in  
transit. Please retain original box and packaging material. Under this warranty, Whynter will  
repair or replace any parts found defective. This warranty is not transferable. After the  
expiration of the warranty, the cost of labor and parts will be the responsibility of the original  
owner of the unit.  
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:  
- Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes.  
- Damage, accidental or other wise, to the scale while in the possession of a consumer not  
caused by a defect in material or workmanship;  
- Damage caused by consumer misuse, tampering, or failure to follow the care and special  
handling provisions in the instructions.  
- Damage to the finish of the case, or other appearance parts caused by wear.

2) Damage caused by repairs or alterations of the scale by anyone other than  
authorized by the manufacturer.  
3) Freight and Insurance cost for the warranty service.
